Have you ever wondered why food spoils? A Taste of Science highlights the role science plays in delaying food decay and keeping food nutritious and safe for us to eat. In this engaging experience, immerse yourself in an oversized “pantry” and discover what makes food spoil, and different food preservation techniques. You’ll find lots to feed your mind and imagination on the menu!

Worlds of the Night! 

January 26, 2019 – April 21, 2019

Presented by the Sherbrooke Museum of Nature and Science

The best stories are told once the sun has set, when mysteries abound and your mind is all set to go on a roller coaster of emotions. Wander in The Worlds of the Night’s dusky ambience and meet nocturnal animals that are out and about while you sleep. Obviously, you won’t catch a wink of sleep tonight!

Cultivate your inner-garden

May 4 – September 8, 2019

Presented by Les Hookeuse de Bor'de'lo

As part of the Congrès mondial acadien 2019 celebrations, “Cultivate your inner-garden” will showcase artistically hooked rugs by local collective, Les Hookeuses du Bor’de’lo. Each artist will create a series of three rugs, using new and recycled materials. Rug-hooking workshops, as well as chances to see the creators in action, will be offered throughout the display period.
